Apotheek.nl

In a pitch, Apotheek.nl introduced us the goal to create a responsive website that is the source of information for people with questions about medication and diseases. A website that reduces the information overload without actually giving less information, radiate independence, expertise, and reliability. We won the pitch, and I was eager to make our concept to a complete product.

I started this project with a lot of research, mapping the needs of the users by drawing up scenarios and user stories and analyzing the content of the old website. This way, I found out that different themed pages needed different smart search functions giving smart search results that include relevance and suggestions to allow the user to quickly find what he is looking for.

To strengthen our concept, we tested user experience, design, and usability with the target group during our process twice. This method gave us great insights by which we were able to put the finishing touches.

After six months of hard work by the Scrum methodology, we have created a beautiful responsive website that will receive 1.5 million monthly visitors. I am proud I was in the position to work on such a well-visited website.
