Peugeot Virtual Test Drive

The assignment of Peugeot was to create a virtual test drive for their new Peugeot 208 car.
We created an app which you can use together with a VR Cardboard (goggles) which enables you to look around in 360 degrees using your mobile device. This way, you can take a virtual test drive wherever you are.

One of the challenges of designing for VR was the navigation: because when using Virtual Reality glasses, you can’t touch the screen with your fingers. The only thing left is your eyes. That is how we came up with touchpoints on top of the VR view. By staring to these marked spots, you can get information about the cool new features of the car, and switch between driver-, roof- and drone view. To work with this new type of interaction was really cool.
